Michael’s practice has been concentrated in family law for his entire professional career. Michael has also handled hundreds of residential real estate closings over the years.

He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association (“DCBA”). Throughout the years, Michael has been the chairman as well as the vice-chairman of the DCBA Family Law Committee, the chairman and vice-chairman of the DCBA Membership Committee, a member of the DCBA Judiciary Committee, the chairman and vice-chairman of the DCBA Younger Members Committee, and a member of the DCBA Lawyer Referral Service Committee. Michael has also received several honors from the DuPage County Bar Legal Aid Service for his service throughout the years.

Michael has been a court approved arbitrator in the DuPage County Arbitration System since 1996, and is a court certified family law mediator in DuPage County.
